A beautiful new hand printed Hindu art shirt featuring VISHNU, GARUDA and Gajendra!

Lord Vishnu riding Garuda to save Gajendra, the Elephant King- Gajendra, the king of elephants, disturbed a mighty crocodile who grabbed one of his legs and began pulling him under the water. Trapped within the crocodile’s strong jaws, Gajendra tried in vain to free himself. He struggled hard but the crocodile’s hold remained firm. Gajendra called out to his herd, but they were too frightened to come to his aid. As he was about to drown, the elephant-king picked up a lotus with his trunk. Lifting it towards the heavens, he cried, “I offer this to Vishnu, my lord, the refuge of the helpless.” Instantly, the lord descended from Vaikuntha on his mount Garuda, and liberated Gajendra by striking down the crocodile.

Vishnu is one of the five prime Hindu deities (Brahma, Ganesh, Shiva and Durga being the other four). Garuda has a golden body, white face, red wings, and an eagle's beak, but with a man's body. He wears a crown on his head. He is ancient and has size enough to block out the sun.

Our art shirts are hand screened in small quantities using non-toxic"watercolor technique" dyes on a wax press. High quality rich and durable screen prints on a top quality cotton-polyester blend shirt.

Shipped brand new in poly bag. This shirt will not shrink. We recommend hand wash or machine wash gentle to preserve the colors.

This beautiful new shirt is a misses size SMALL- These tops are very soft and can stretch to fit. Please check measurements to insure a proper fit:

SMALL measures ~16" across the chest from armpit to armpit and ~21" long and will comfortably fit up to a ~32-34"chest/bust.
