I found several animal pins like this at an estate sale in Tulsa. I was told (and I have no idea if this is true or not) that Swarovski had made a series of endangered species of animals as a fund raiser for the National Wildlife Federation...and that these were some of the pieces. If it is true, it's a lovely idea. Even if it's not, the pieces are lovely.

This tiger is quite the handsome fellow, definitely on his way somewhere. He measures 2" x 5/8" and sports stripes set with tiny rhinestones. All tigers should be this lucky! He is in excellent condition.

If you are fond of tigers (as a collectible) or if you love beautiful jewelry, this is definitely a piece you will love to wear. Give him a good home please!
