We do not think .. better than to refer to the work of Bonnet- Schroeder those of our readers who wish to have a full review of all the books of the Bible. "
This series of volumes on the New Testament began in 1846 with the publication of the volume on the Gospels and the Acts was written by Louis Bonnet and several scholars employees who supported the work of Gerlach . In 1855 , L. Bonnet wrote only a second volume on the Epistles and the Apocalypse . The series, revised and expanded with the help of Alfred Schroeder, grand-son of L. Bonnet, was completed around 1912.
We believe that on the whole, these books are still a great value and we reprint with the belief that they will be useful for any serious student of the New Testament .
