Classic Pleated Skirt: All views are lined and have topstitching on stitched part of pleats, waistband, and belt carriers. View A has 5 knife pleats, front and back, released equally from the waistband, which has pairs of narrow belt carriers. The front of View B has a centered box pleat with 2 knife pleats on each side, released to form a V-shape; the back is straight with a kick pleat. Wide belt carriers finish the waistband. The front and back of View C is identical to the front of View B, with shaped wide belt carriers on the waistband. In Views A and C, the lapped zipper is in the left side seam; in View B it is in the center-back seam. If desired, pleats may be left soft and unpressed. Waistbands may be closed with a button and buttonhole or a skirt hook and eye.
