AN ATTRACTION SUBSTITUTE by Ray Denhison. This original, one of a kind, work is a digital image of an abandoned church in the Hyde Park section of St. Louis. The photograph, taken by Denhison, is printed on a page taken / torn from an out of print Art History book. The book page, with an image of a painting by a 19th Century German artist, has been used as it was found with no alterations (the paper has toned naturally with age). The work is signed and dated.
This photographic image was printed using a laser printer. It measures approximately 8 1/2 by 10 1/2 inches and is shown here in an 8 by 10 inch black matte for demonstration only (matte and frame are not included) The Denhison watermark doesn't appear on the actual work.
