Sensational Trachten Chain Bodice
This very unusual dirndl is made with such precision! Lots of hand-stitching -- no doubt many hours in its creation.
The bodice features a trachten chain panel over charcoal velvet than extends in a yoke around the neck and upper back.
Velvet also graces the bottom of the sleeves. Pleat braid decorates the seams between velvet and cotton on both bodice and sleeves.
The skirt is very full. Dirndl zips down the back and ALSO HAS ZIPPERS on the cuffs to zip open to get on over the hands and then close for a tailored fit.
The pattern is loden green with yellow, rose and aqua blue. The entire bodice, including the sleeves are lined.
This is a custom piece and has no size label, but I wear petite 2 and it fits perfectly. Would also work for about a size 16 girl.
It has been freshly laundered and is ready to wear. The condition is excellent.
