Vintage 1971 misses' / women's Simplicity sewing pattern, style number 9553 in one size. Spats are back in style so make your own to jazz up those boots! Make a coordinating bag to match.
Spats and Two Bags: The lined shoulder bag V. 1 with zipper closing is trimmed with appliques and metallic trims. The shoulder bag V. 2 with flap is lined. The spats V. 3 with zipper and elastic foot strap have special stitch lines to make spats larger or smaller. The spats may be trimmed with purchased appliques and metallic trim or with buttons and lacing.
The pattern envelope may show wear and tear from age or storage, or have writing or markings which do not affect the pattern tissue. The pattern tissue and instructions inside are complete and uncut. Copyright dated 1971.
