This is a companion piece to the tiny oval box also listed here. It's also an estate piece from the lady who had excellent taste, loved beautiful things and collected avidly. This larger Florenza trinket or ring box is done with the white enamel finish that is brushed with gold overall. It gives a lovely antiqued look to the piece.
The sides are done in an open Greek key design and the bottom rests on 3 round balls for legs. The top is also beautifully done in an open design...flowers and leaves over it all with faux pearls and green and fuchsia chaton rhinestones for drama. All the "jewels" are in excellent condition.
The inside in lined in a fucsia felt that shows through the openwork. It measures 3" in diameter and is 2-1/2" tall. It is signed on the underside of the lid on a cartouche attached to the bottom of one of the pearl "flowers".
This is a delightful design and a gorgeous vintage piece...well deserving of a special place in its new home!
