Mint, unplayed condition in original brown record sleeve. Blue-J Records was owned by songwriter Charles "Chaw" Mank Jr. as a subsidiary of his larger Blue Ribbon Records. The pressing for this record was around 250 copies, making this a rare item in the Elvis Presley memorabilia field. Chaw Mank appears as a co-writer on this record, both as "Chaw Mank" and his pseudonym of "Charles LaMarr."
This item comes directly from the estate of Charles "Chaw" Mank Jr. (1902-1985), noted songwriter, author, bandleader, record producer, sheet music publisher, psychic, radio personality, silent movie theater organist, world champion pen pal, inveterate collector and Hollywood/music fan club pioneer.
