These have the accelerator pump linkage that clears the alternator, unlike the Brazilian carb that requires alternator grinding. The Pierburg models are supposed to have much better casting quality, machining, and almost zero defect compared to other units. They also have the proper port for SVDA or other vacuum advance distributors. The Pierburg carburettor comes with an X130 main jet and a 50 idle jet, as well as a new choke and idle shut off valve.
