This is the most reliable, consistant, and efficient blender I have ever owned. Maybe it is the blending technique people are using? (Liquids always go first, solids next, ice LAST.) We use ours for smoothies, margaritas, pina coladas, ice cream shakes, and even sauces. It is fantastic, and produces the best frozen drinks ever in just 40 seconds. I would absolutely buy another... but at this rate, I can't see needing to. It works as well as it did from day one.
