The International Silver Company, an amalgamation of fourteen independent silverware manufacturers, was formed in 1898. Among these was the Watrous Company, acquired in 1898. This pattern, Rosalind New was issued in 1921 by International under the Watrous name.
A very basic pattern, it is truly very elegant looking with a small design and finely beaded edges on the handle. These pieces are dessert/salad forks and in great condition. I doubt that they had much use.
The back is stamped with theI.S. Co. The Watrous mark and Sterling. There is a patent date but I am unable to discern.
There are six forks in this lot…I am willing to sell separately. The prices are under anything I have found on the internet but will also consider a reasonable offer.
