A wonderful necklace for summer made of tumbled chunks of light agate strung between sections of tiny beads and clear quartz bits. The focal point is a butterfly carved from a piece of shell. The back of the shell is pearly white and the front is tinged with browns.
The necklace has a lobster claw clasp that hooks into an extender chain. The necklace is 18 inches long with an additional 2 inches on the chain. The butterfly pendant is 1.5 by 2 inches.
Condition is excellent vintage. This piece may be from Mexico although it is not marked. Perhaps I think that because the agate reminds me of the agate chess sets sold to visitors to Mexico.
