She is so delightful and has a happy almost smiling look. She has the cutest little overbite. She is quite large and measures approximately 23 inches tall.She is marked:The Dollar Princess62SpecialMade In GermanyHer original owner named her Marie and she has brown glass set eyes, thick molded feathered eye brows, hand painted upper and lower eyelashes, an open mouth with teeth, a chin dimple and coral colored lips.Marie is wearing an antique white cotton dress (slightly stained), a beautiful hand crafted bonnet with feathers, rhinestones and flowers, a synthetic brown wig with beautiful sausage curls, a full slip underneath her dress, white diamond patterned stockings and vintage black patent leather shoes (some of the paper on the bottom of one sole has come up a little).She has no hairlines on her head. The only flaws noted are a teeny tiny flake in the corner of her right eye (as shown in photo), a small rub on the tip of her nose, and her stringing is not as tight as it could be (she is fine when on a stand). Her jointed composition body does have wear and crackling to the finish (see photos). Her original owner painted her fingernails red (how cute).This doll is really pretty and display ready.
