Very light shelfwear to edges and boards. DJ protected with mylar and not clipped. Pages tight and clean. Library discard with usual marks and attachments. Pocket removed. Book appears un-read. Translated from the Norwegian by Dag Ryen. 154 pages. HardCover Binding. Year: 1973. ISBN: 0689304188. Nicknamed Midge because he seems to lack courage and muscle, fourteen-year-old Torgeir Solheim, who dislikes fighting, is forced to take on the school bully one day, resulting in serious injury to the bully. In the melee, Torgeir's eight-year-old brother Terje and his twin sister Lise become embroiled, as well. Deeply upset and hoping to reach their father, a captain in the Norwegian Air Force who had recently been transferred to an air base in the South, the children stow away on an air force plane.
