I've Got My Jesus Suit On

Easily teach your children they have nothing to be afraid of when you zip up their invisible "Jesus Suit". This softcover book lets children know that Jesus is with them and protects them from "monsters".

The words to the Jesus Suit book started when my 3 year old son started saying he was scared of monsters under his bed. My very 1st reaction was, “WHAT?!?! You have nothing to be afraid of, you have Jesus to protect you!” I then proceeded to zip up his “Invisible” Jesus Suit and told him that because Jesus is with him the monsters can only see his Jesus Suit and that Jesus Protects him. I told him he was strong with his Jesus Suit on and he had NOTHING to be afraid of.

Little Boys especially love this because I noticed that when all little boys wear super hero costumes, they walk with confidence and strength, differently than just being themselves. Little girls do the same with their costumes.

This became a ritual every night that turned into a little song from acting goofy with my children.

Here are the words to this book:

It's time to brush my teeth
and put my Jesus Suit on!

Mommy can you help me
put my Jesus Suit on?

Can you zip it up tight
when you put it on?

From head to toe
now I've got it on.

I'm invisible
with my Jesus Suit on.

Jump into bed.
I've got my Jesus Suit on.

I'm pulling up my covers
with my Jesus Suit on.

I'm saying, "Goodnight"
with my Jesus Suit on.

Daddy says I'm strong
because I've got it on.

So he turns out the light
with my Jesus Suit on.

Silly monsters
I'm not scared!

Jesus protects me,
so you can't stay here...
BEEEEECAUSE...

I am strong in the Lord
and in the power of his might!

That's how I know
that I can sleep tight...

with my Jesus Suit on!
