This CD is expected to be of interest to network users who may be running different platforms on their network at the same time. NFS is a creature of the UNIX (and Linux) world, but this CD includes implementations for Windows. The Network File System carries with is some advantages as compared with ordinary Windows networking: For one thing, it will facilitate network access even to special and/or hidden files that are not available via Microsoft networking. Another advantage is a more unified administration, since NFS works the same from one platform to another. The packages fall into a few groups::

(2) Accessory utilities
(3) A couple of other packages
