Dyrberg Kern Denmark stretch bracelet bold black onyx ovals pre-owned ll3284

A dramatic bracelet made in Denmark by design team Gitte Dyrberg and Henning Kern. It is made of large black ovals of opaque onyx, possibly high quality plastic. The ovals are sort of egg-shaped. They are strung on two strands of stretch filament and separated by tiny round black beads. The ends meet in a signature bar that is gold colored ion plating. The name DYRBERG/KERN is etched on one side.

The ovals are 1.5 inches wide. The bracelet is 9 inches in diameter but will only look right on wrists up to 7 inches. Otherwise you will be showing a lot of filament. The bracelet is reversible so you can wear the signature inside or out.

Condition is very good verging on excellent. Some scratches on the gold bar but nothing that detracts from the drama of the bracelet. The bracelet is pre-owned but I can't date it other than between 1985 and the recent past. It is not part of the current line.
