Burlap Journal with Antique Polka Dot Inside Covers, and Colorful Inserts and Bookmarks

This listing is for one handmade journal, measuring approximately 8¾ tall x 5¾ inches wide x 1¾ inches deep. It will be made to order, and will ship out no more than five days after your payment has cleared.

The cover is a light-medium brown burlap with a mildly scratchy texture. The front inside cover is a beigey-cardboard colored background with off-black polka dots. The back inside cover is the opposite, an off-black background and ivory/cream-colored polka dots, with off-black retro-style font inside the polka dots.

The Pages consist of the following:
• 2 vellum sheets at the front of the book—one is the 1st page, and the next is a few pages back
• 126 lined sheets (252 pages, counting front and back). There are 24 lines per page, and said lines are dotted as opposed to solid, and a light/medium gray in color. Paper is 28lb weight
• 8 sheets (16 pages, counting front and back) various colored cardstock inserts with a canvas-like texture, evenly spaced throughout the book—medium sunshine yellow, medium lime, medium teal, and medium cool purple
• 22 sheets (44 pages, counting front and back) unlined paper, 28lb weight
*lined and unlined 28lb pages are suitable for both wet and dry media. However, to preserve the integrity of the binding, please use caution when using wet media near the spine. For heavier weight paper, please send me an email! Also, if you would prefer to have only unlined pages, we can make that happen too!

This journal is hand-bound using a very durable nylon thread, and the entire binding is then covered in glue to further re-enforce the spine.

There are three ribbon bookmarks (a teal with white polka dots on the front and teal-and-white striped of varying thickness on the back, medium lime with semi-transparent edges, and semi-transparent yellow with a slight sparkly-sheen), which can be used all together or to mark separate places in the journal. The longest, the teal, dangles approximately 2¾ inches past the end of the book. The lime ribbon has a silver circular charm tied to its end which reads: love (luv), n, v. a passionate feeling of affection for another person. The semi-transparent yellow ribbon has a silver-toned zipper pull tied to its end.

Standard shipping for this journal is media mail, shipping from central Texas. The journal is wrapped in craft paper and tied with twine, then wrapped in bubble wrap, and placed in a padded envelope. For additional gift wrapping, please email us! For an additional fee we can use wrapping paper if you prefer, and/or a variety of ribbons tied in bows—whatever your heart desires!
