Original 1st pressing Mono release of this album. This material was recorded September 12, 1958 at Rudy Van Gelder Studio in Hackensack, New Jersey. The personnel includes Eddie Davis, tenor sax- Shirley Scott, organ- George Duvivier, bass- and Arthur Edgehill, drums. The cover still looks OK to be almost 50 years old- the front has some of its original gloss left along with a bit of surface wear. The back has more wear and somebodys name written in small letters near the top, plus there are corner dings. There is a 4 inch top center seam split and some peeling on the bottom seam & spine. The vinyl has had a lot of plays and shows wear, scuffing, and scratches. Many of the scratches can be felt, especially on Side A. This record also has RVG stamped in the dead wax on both sides.
