Turbocharger rebuild kit and upgrade compressor wheel (Wicked wheel) for 1994 thru 2003 7.3L Ford Powerstroke Diesel turbos (Garrett TP38 and GTP38). Made in USA. Kit contains all parts as shown in picture below (journal bearings, thrust bearing, compressor & turbine seals, compressor housing o-ring, 12 point shaft nut, pedestal o-rings and bolts). Contains both types of compressor backplate seals for 1994-1997 and 1999-2003 turbos. Bolts are Class 12.9 alloy steel. The Garrett TP-38 / GTP-38 turbos are the easiest turbochargers to rebuild. Also included is a new upgrade Turbocharger Compressor Wheel. OEM part number is 170293 - has 5 short and 5 long vanes - 80mm Exducer & 60mm Inducer. This wheel will eliminate surge problems associated with the stock wheel and improve low-end throttle response. This wheel will produce a more pronounced "whistle" over the stock wheel.
