THE SWINGLE SINGERS - Going Baroque - 1964 LP (Philips - PHM 200-126)
Description: Classic LP from that terrific a capella group, The Swingle Singers, featuring their unique vocal take on a dozen classical instrumentals.
Selections:
Side 1:
Badinerie (J. S. Bach)
Air (G. F. Handel)
Gigue (J. S. Bach)
Largo (J. S. Bach)
Prelude No. 19 (J. S. Bach)
Preambule (J. S. Bach)
Side 2:
Fugue (Vivaldi)
Allegro (G. F. Handel)
Prelude No. 7 (J. S. Bach)
Solfeggietto (Ph. E. Bach)
Der Fruehling (W. F. Bach)
Prelude No. 24 (J. S. Bach)
Condition: Very good, I'd say. I played it recently and it still sounded great, with no skips. The vinyl looks very clean with just a few superficial scratches. The labels are also clean with no noticeable wear. The jacket is a bit scuffed and slightly worn around the edges. The back has a few disturbed patches from the removal of some labels or stickers.
**NOTE**: Shipping charges are discounted when more than one of my items are purchased at the same time. See what else I have to offer!
