HW-508 Adam Smith Competition

Adam Smith would say that if a business mistreats its customers they will not come back and they will go out of business, and if they mistreat their employees they will find work elsewhere where they are treated better. As long as we have competition for products and workers, the system will work.
What do you think?? Is Adam Smith right or not?
