Antique hand embroidered linen hanky sweet floral corner ll1457

The sweetest hand embroidered hanky you'll see in a long time. This one is quite old, make of fine soft linen with threadwork hem but the star of the hanky is the hand embroidered floral corner. Tiny daisies and a bouquet of mixed flowers. Interesting detail is that the blue outlined flower and the gold diamonds have a stuffed look created by embroidering on the underside and just catching the fabric on top. I'm sure there is a name for this technique but I don't know it. The hanky is 11 inches square. Whether you use your hankies or just collect them, this one will win your heart. Age estimate--1920s to early 30s.
