Easy-Life ProFito is a highly concentrated, complete, universal plant fertilizer that is suitable for all aquatic plants. After much testing, Easy-Life found the formula of this product to be simply the best for the rate of growth, the formation of new leaves and the recovery of leaves which had holes or were discoloured (mostly due to mineral deficiency). Dozens of ingredients are ideally mixed together to form this fertilizer, guaranteeing a strong, healthy and lush plant growth. The usage of ProFito makes the addition of extra iron or potassium fertilizers mostly unnecessary; in almost all cases this even applies to heavily planted tanks.The high concentrations of iron, potassium and magnesium in ProFito fulfil the needs of the plants to take up large amounts of these nutrients. Moreover this plant nourishment product includes many additional "micronutrients" such as manganese, boron, cobalt, lithium, molybdenum, copper, tin, nickel, fluorine, iodine, aluminium, zinc, selenium and vanadium. These substances, in combination with a number of rare minerals, give the plants just what they need to grow. The plants are stimulated to form cytokinines (plant hormones) in greater quantities so that cell division proceeds more rapidly. Leaves grow bigger and wider, and additionally the leaves show a more intensive colouration.The supply of nutrients in ProFito is optimal so that plants will grow fast. Thus, unwanted compounds in the aquarium, like nitrogen and phosphate compounds, will be taken up by plants more readily . This helps maintain the water quality in the aquarium.The nutrients in the product are stabilized by various chelating agents. An anti-oxidant and a preservative prevent the deterioration of the product to ensure a long shelf life. The product may be kept in a cool and dark place to preserve it even longer. It's also possible to add 1/7 of the total dosage on a daily basis. The colour of the product can vary from dark green to dark brown. For the first couple of weeks, use about 1/3 of the dosage. This can later be adjusted to attain the best possible growth rate ( 10 ml +/- 40% per 100 litres weekly). The best dosage can be determined by observing the youngest leaves of the plant. If they are light green, then the dosage can be increased. When algae should appear and/or no further growth enhancement of the plants can be observed, then the dosage may be reduced. The introduction of some fast-growing plants can indeed be very helpful to prevent algae.A 250 ml bottle will be enough to last a for approximately 5.5 months when treating a 100 litre aquarium at standard dosage, for approx. 9.5 months when treating a 60 litre aquarium or for approx. 2 months for a 240 litre aquarium.
