1780 #4 Maria Theresa Thaler is a silver coin that has been used in world trade continuously since it was first minted in 1751 with a weight of 28.0668g and is larger than a US Silver Dollar. It was named after Empress Maria Theresa, who ruled Austria, Hungary, and Bohemia from 1740 to 1780. It is 41 mm round and 2.5 mm thick. On the edge of coin is inscribed: "CLEMENT IUSTITI".
