Description: Here's a rather amusing key chain produced to advertise a Chinese restaurant that used to operate in Manassas, Virginia. It's loaded with misspellings and the sort of mangled English that is stereotypically associated with the Chinese. I don't know if this was done intentionally or not.
To begin with, on the front "Manassas" itself is misspelled "Manssas". Then on the back, the list of reasons promoting the restaurant includes:
1. AVTHENIC, SZUMUAN ANOHUNAN.FLAVOR
2. CHINESE ASSORTED PASTRIES
3. ECONMICAL. AND HEALTHFUL
4. MOMELIKE. SERRICE
5. PREPARED BY FAMOU SCHEF
6. WELCOME. ONE ANDALL!
The body of the keychain is plastic, while the chain and ring are metal.
Size: approx. 1½" x 1½" x ¼" (excluding chain and ring)
Date: Not dated, but I acquired it in the early 1980s.
Condition: Excellent, never used.
