A brownware kitten figurine made of red clay with brown glaze and cold painted details. It is marked Japan on the bottom.

The cat is 3 inches tall and 2.75 inches across. Condition is perfect except for shelf scuffing on the bottom. The cold paint is haphazard but I think this is deliberate. It doesn't look like wear.
