The Stars and Stripes was the "Daily Newspaper of U.S. Armed Forces in the European Theater of Operations". There were numerous different editions published throughout the ETO. This "GERMANY EDITION" was "published at the auxiliary plant of the Frankfurter Zeitung, Fabrik Strasse, Pfungstadt, Hessen, Germany".

Condition: Good, I'd say. The paper is complete, in good, readable condition, but it has been folded, has several edge tears (a couple of them up to 2") and some light toning. There's a 2½" piece of cellophane tape closing a tear on page 2.
