NL Red border. Smaller number of coins than in the plastic 1962 set, with a slightly larger size. Measures 1 1/2" in diameter. American League players have blue rims on their coins, while the National Leaguers are rimmed in red. Coin fronts have full color player photos, backs list coin number, player name, team and position, along with brief statistics and the sponsors logos. Coins are similar to the Topps, Armour, Old London, Jello, Chips and Shirriff coins in the 1960’s but are much scarcer because they were issued in boxes of tea and pudding mix.CONDITION: Coin is in good condition. Red border has faded to orange. Front image is faded. Light rim wear.
