2. Develop a safety program with employee involvement.
3. Is this a white collar environment? Still need to look at safety, but greater emphasis on health. Look at health screenings, ergonomics and stress. Consider organizational initiatives to reduce stress (job redesign, supervision, org culture etc.)
G. Employee Relations –
1. This section involves anything that can improve the employee’s work environment and build a better quality of work life. Ensure all policies and procedures are fair and equitable and are administered equitably throughout the organization. It is important to have an employee handbook. Consider an internal complaint procedure, and an equitable discipline process. Focus on communication, job satisfaction surveys, job enrichment/rotation, employee involvement/participation, flexible work arrangements and teams.
