ScaleXtrack has been designed for anyone who is planning out a new track layout and would like to try many different options quickly and easly without having to have the final table space ready.
Now you can plan in Scale, 1/10th (in fact it is 1/10th of our beloved 1/32nd scale)
The track parts are a 1/10th scale representation of the standard track parts. Offering radi up to R3, the scope for a fast flowing and exciting track plan is possible. Each kit has over 50 race parts, many more than most box sets offer, so you can be sure you will have the right section to hand. Those planning bigger tracks may need more sets and a bigger fridge.
In order to plan your track make sure you use the correct size grid.
Both Scalextric and carrera use the same grid and Ninco uses its own size.
You can find a pdf of both online if you need more than the two included in the pack.
All you need do is draw your table size (metric size in cm divided by 10) on the grid, attach the grid to something metal (like a fridge or a tray :) ) and your ready to plan out your award winning track. Yes, we offer periodic prizes for the highest rated tracks uploaded to our User gallery and rated by you the discerning racer. You can upload as many tracks as you like, but similar tracks maybe rejected. Your track does not need to be on the grid paper to qualify, in fact we would love to see tracks on anything and everywhere, so get creative and race on.
Two sheets of A3 size grid paper are included with every kit, one each for both sizes and they are double sided too (plenty of room for your plans)
