Vintage Bedspread Emb Butterflies & Crochet Insets

This lovely vintage summer weight bedspread comes from an estate in mid Michigan and is in good condition. This bedspread measures approx 80" X 75". I photographed this bedspread on a double bed and it fits nicely, but this could also be used on a twin size bed. The bedspread is off white and the edges are bound in light blue with a binding stitch. There are two 6" wide ivory filet crochet insets that run along the sides of the mattress. Between these two insets is embroidered a large spray of light green leaves with large and small colorful butterflies. There are two very small dark spots rather close together on one side of the spread below the crochet, on the drop side. Also, there is a hole on one of the insets, just a slight bit larger than a fifty cent piece, at the head of the spread. All of the embroidery is intact and beautifully done. I am selling this bedspread as found, so it does need to be washed or cleaned. Even with the hole on the inset, this is an absolutely beautiful spread for your summer bedroom!
