Here is a rare piece of TV history. It’s one piece of paper folded in the middle so there are four sides of information. When folded, the pages measure 8 ½ by 11 inches.
On the cover is written (from top to bottom) SKETCHES I and II of All Shook Up Words and Music by Otis Blackwell and Elvis Presley Elvis Presley—Victor Published by Shalimar Music Corp. Elvis Presley Music, Inc. TELEVISION SKETCHBOOK SUPPLEMENT May 1957 Copyright 1957 Broadcast Music, Inc. 589 Fifth Avenue, New York, 17, N.Y.
On the 2nd and 3rd pages are the set and stage directions for a sketch for the song ALL SHOOK UP. On the 4th page is the music score. Scene one is at a soda fountain and scene two is a night scene.
There is a paperclip rust mark on the front page—top right and a light crease towards the bottom. Back page there is a mark in green just below the title of the song.
