The book is the result of 14 years of work compiling and logging the locations of Absolut Vodka magazine ads from 1979 through to 2013. There are over 27,000 entries, over 13,000 ad locations and over 1,500 different ads recorded. Coil bound making it easy to lay flat when hunting for ads. 456 pages. The book is divided into two sections. The first section lists the ads in alphabetical order by headline, such as BRAVO, CITRON, FANTASY, L.A., SCROOGE, etc. The second section lists the magazine titles in alphabetical order. So, if you're looking for ABSOLUT BRAVO, you would want to use the first section. Go to BRAVO and you will find a long list of magazine titles that contain the ad. If, for example, you come across a large collection of Rolling Stone magazines and you want to know which issues have Absolut Vodka ads, then you would want to use the second section. Let's say you find several boxes of miscellaneous vintage and contemporary magazines at a garage sale or at a used book store. You can use the guide to help you filter out those magazines that may not contain ABSOLUT ads. Then you can use the guide to literally pull out those magazines that contain the ABSOLUT ads missing from your collection. This is a valuable tool and will save you from many hours of endlessly thumbing through magazines. It's well worth the price as you will now save on those expensive internet purchases.
