DESCRIPTION: Achille Dattilo grew up in a small village near Cosenza in Calabria Italy. At a young age he traveled to Rome to become a fashion designer and designed fabrics and formulated colors which were used in some of the leading couture houses in the world...Ferragamo, Armani, and Fabiani. He enjoyed a successful career not only as a fashion designer, but also as an entrepreneur operating his own fashion house, which manufactured some of the finest women's clothes in the U.S.
This suit is one of his last designs before leaving the business to start the world-famous, highly-acclaimed Dattilo Restaurant in Whittier, California. It is beautifully-appointed with double waist pockets, button wrists, and skirt pockets. The colors are soft yellow and pale gray, forming a delicious herringbone tweed in linen/rayon blend. The suit is fully lined and absolutely fabulous.
