Hi :)
A $5.00 DONATION will be made from every shark necklace sold in my shop towards the Oceanic Preservation Society to help fight against shark fining!

This necklace is just sweet :) If you or know someone who loves marine life, this would make a great gift, just in time for beach and vacation season.
This piece was inspired by the poignant Sharkwater documentary about how in some countries, shark fin soup among other foods are considered "delicacies" and tradition at weddings in such.
The shocking documentary shows how poachers will capture sharks by the thousands, just to chop off all their fins to be sold and then they dump the still alive shark back in the water to it's painful and slow death of drowning and bleeding out, just horrible! I for one believe these animals belong in the wild and to be untouched by man.
Inside the bottle is a miniature hand sculpted little shark, no molds were used. The little shark is meticulously hand painted to look very realistic.
I then added a special coat of varnish to protect the paint.
You will also find some beach sand and sculpted seaweeds as well to mimic the ocean.
The bottle and it's contents are sealed up with a cork and sealant.
On the outside of the bottle on a burnt paper there is a inspirational quote that reads:
" Keep calm and save our oceans!"
The quote has been varnished to prevent fading over time.
Hanging from the top of the cork is a little charm composed of a single white pearl nestled between two genuine grey-ish Swarovski crystals.
The pendant hangs from a 18'' cable style silver plated chain with a spring ring closure.
This item comes in a gift box and is bubble wrapped for extra precaution.
ITEM SHIPS 1-3 DAYS AFTER PURCHASE IS MADE.
PLEASE ALLOW BETWEEN 1-4 WEEKS TO RECEIVE YOUR ITEM, "NORMAL" TIME IS USUALLY A WEEK :)
