A hand tooled leather belt made in Barcelona Spain that glorifies the bullfight and has scenes from the corrida. Scenes include the pics, the matador at the kill, flamenco dancers, the word TOROS, the bullfighter making a pass, his cape and sword, another pass, the picador on horseback as the bull comes through the gate. The scenes are all along the leather belt.
The belt was made in Barcelona Spain for C. Maroto Tejedor. #6539, Model Toros. It is 2 inches wide and the length from smallest to largest buckle holes is 33 to 39 inches. It can't be made longer but it could accommodate additional holes for a smaller waist.
Condition is very good but not as new. It seems that the previous owner used two holes consistently and there is wear to the finish in the two inches of leather involved. These could be concealed with shoe paint or even a colored waterproof marker. The leather has not torn. The leather buckle shows wear where the tongue rubs the buckle.
