This Matte Black pigment is a 1.25 gram sample. May or may not be enough for your formulation but is sometimes used to darken the tone of other colors. It is non-bleeding and doesn't migrate and can be used in MP and CP, also HP. It's approved general cosmetic use including eye and lip products which makes it a lot of fun!

I like to use this color in my soaps I make for my little boys to give then that little guy touch. Works excellent in clear bases and in white bases; gives you that opaque, or grayish color.

I started making my own lip balms, shampoos, conditioners, and then soaps at the end of 2012 all the way into 2013 & current so I'm pretty knowledgeable. I have gained a supply of pigments from all of my experimenting if you would like to try them out before you dive in full force as making your own items can be addicting! I have lots of fun with my personal soap and shampoo making and even have a few copycats out now! Amazingly enough, there's room for all of us as we should all try to be unique as possible when it comes to perfecting our own crafts.
