The LG G3 is the first smartphone to feature a Quad HD Display (not to be confused with the lowercase qHD display for "quarter HD") with an insane 2560x1440-resolution, which has nearly 78% more pixels than a 1080p Full HD display. It's a huge difference on paper, but is barely perceptible to the naked eye in reality. However there are cases where you can discern the extra hundred or so pixels per inch compared to current 1080p smartphones, such as high resolution photos, 4K video recordings as well as certain games.
