His duties include inspection of Public Libraries assisted by RRRLF in the southern State of Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka, Kerala and Tamil Nadu. Earlier he served in western India covering the States of Goa, Gujarat, Madhya Pradesh and Maharashtra. He started his professional career in Chennai Law College and worked as Librarian, Highways Research Station, Chennai before joining RRRLF. Being a prolific author, he wrote 64 books in Tamil and English on diverse subjects such as Art and Culture, Biography, English Grammar and Composition, G.K., General Science, History, I.T., Library Science, and Zoology.
