He has, so far, authored six books on Education and Culture and published around 200 research and theoretical papers. A few of them have appeared in the educational journals and magazines of America, Canada and New Zealand. He had done his post doctoral research in the University of Pittsburgh (USA), under Indo-American Fellowship Program, in 1982.,He was nominated as member of the Governing Council of the Indian Council of Social Science Research (ICSSR) by the Ministry of Human Resources Development, Govt. of India, for two consecutive terms, from 1999 to 2005. He was also nominated as Member of the Editorial Advisory Board of the Journal of Educational Psychology published by the Princeton University (USA), for one term.
