Coro February brooch primrose amethyst pot metal signed antique vintage ll3473

A very old Coro brooch that is probably one in a series of birthstone, month flower but I can't find any other examples. This brooch is pot metal (It could be pewter but is not marked thus.) I found one other on Pinterest that had been sold for a lot of money.

The brooch is round with 3 primrose blossoms and foliage. Each blossom is centered with an amethyst, probably a rhinestone.

The pin is 2 inches in diameter (5 cms) and has a very healthy safety clasp on the back. It is signed FEBRUARY, Primrose, Amethyst Coro. The best of my research indicates this was made about 1940-41.

Condition is excellent even considering its age.
