These notes are new & from China. Hell Banknotes are made from Joss paper and are used by Buddhist at funerals. They believe that Hell is a part of the otherworld where souls stay until they are reincarnated or go on to Hades. All notes are about the size of a dollar or a little larger. The notes are burned at funerals or special holidays to send money (via smoke) to the deceased so they will have money. All the notes are different in style, color, value, or different reverses.
