Floating Bed - Double Size

The Floating Bed was the first design in our range of four luxury handmade wooden floating bed frames. It’s intelligent design gives it a floating effect that makes the bed frame appear to float above the floor with no legs underneath. The mattress doesn’t need to sit inside the frame like with most of the other handmade wooden bed frames that we offer. Instead, it perches sturdily on top of a platform, reaching just over the sides in order to complete the floating effect that the inset frame provides. It truly is a wonderful addition to any home.

When designing the Floating Bed, we created a bed that was both stylish and efficient. It’s similar to our luxury range of Low Beds, a collection very popular with our customers. However, because of the style of the inset frame it features, the Floating Bed still holds plenty of promise for under bed storage while still removing the potential for painful stubbed toes at night.
