Rare gold overlaid (sheet gold, not plated) GYPSY PENDANT from a tiara or necklace, 16th century, about 1550-1600. The piece was rebuilt about 1800 using the old elements in part, later broken up for its gold, and we were able to bu the pendants. Because of the isolation of the culture, Gypsy items, while rarely on the market, are distinctively identifiable. The pendants are about 3/4" long and in excellent condition for the period.
