Beautiful set of two pre-decimal Irish pennys from the first year of the Irish Free state mint in 1928 after gaining freedom from England.
"Hen and chicks" with Éireanns seal and symbol the "Harp" on opposite side.
this pingin/penny was one of 240 pennys in the old punt/ pound.
