Designed by Belgium's Walter Van Beirendonck. "Not only is he an Antwerp Six alum, Van Beirendonck has musical ties too after designing the costumes for U2’s “PopMart” arena tour in 1997.
Ikea partnered up with van Beirendonck to create the bright and playful mini-collection titled GLÖDANDE. On top of the dreamy designs and cartoonish eyes, the collection tells the story of five creatures who each have their distinct personality.
This whimsical new line is based on Walter Van Beirendonck’s The Story of Wondermooi, a tale about five strange and beautiful creatures that create joy and happiness in the world. The vibrant collection features animated rugs and porcelain dishware, bed linens and so much more — not to mention plenty of on-trend moon and eye prints. storybook charm."
