The LP-5 is designed for applications where there is no reliable pressurized mains water supply. The LP-5 uses gravity to filter the water in the upper chamber through the CeraCarb filter candles into the lower chamber where the filtered water is collected. Manufactured from FDA Aprroved, Natural High-Density Polypropylene (HDPE) which offers a durabe, lightweight and portable means of filtering drinking water anywhere in the world. Due to their effectiveness at eliminating water-born diseases such as cholera and typhoid, they are being specified for field operations by many of the worlds major aid and emergency relief organizations. The CeraMetix™-GF range of water filters are designed for use in gravity water filter systems. These filters utilize our silver impregnated microporous ceramic shell and our AquaMetix™ Granular Media. AquaMetix™ is our exclusive unique blend of proprietary ceramic and carbon technology with Activated PAC media, coupled with our ceramic shell these filters offer the highest quality drinking water possible from a single stage filter. Element will reduce 97% of fluoride from municipal water based on water chemistry. Filtering capacity is approximately 900 gallons. The CeraMetix GF filter is manufactured to remove suspended solids, pathogenic bacteria, cysts, organic chemicals and improve taste and odor. The ceramic is silver impregnated to prevent bacteria growth and is self-sterilizing. The ceramic shell is manufactured to balance flow rate and consistent pore size in order to provide maximum filtration efficiency. The center of the filter contains our AquaMetix granular media to reduce organic chemicals, fluoride, VOC’s, heavy metals and improve the color, taste, and odor of drinking water. This filter element is designed for gravity filter use and other low pressure applications. These filters are designed for use in AquaCera® Gravity Filter Systems, they will also fit other makes of gravity systems.
