Rare Antique Georgian Large Rose Cut Diamond Brooch 1700's Silver Pre Victorian Pin

A Beautiful and Rare Antique Georgian Large Rose Cut Diamond Brooch, Pre-Victorian Era, Later 1700's to early 1800's in Silver. This rare antique piece is composed of sterling silver with antique rose cut diamonds. It is estimated to date to the Georgian Era, later 1700's to early 1800's, making this a rare find. The largest diamond measures about 5.5 x 3.2mm. There are twenty seven (27) diamonds in all. The brooch is done in a floral form, typical of the late 1700's to early 1800's. The clasp is antique C style. Overall the brooch is about 2 1/8 inches long by about 1 1/8 inch wide. These early pieces are hard to come by and this is a beautiful example.
